I am an Indian artist, wife, and mother of two beautiful and spirited children, based in Austin,Texas. I create large-scale Oil / Acrylic paintings with bold color and thick texture. Also created many art with watercolors, pencil shading and sketching, wall murals for kids room, huge stained glass windows around front doors, gorgeous center pieces for special events, as well as theme based Interior Decoration. Some samples are shown below. Moreover, I teach any art medium to any age kids/adults since 2002. 

 

How it all began…

 

I have always been an artist at heart, drawing, painting and making a beautiful mess with whatever materials I could get my hands on. When I was 6 years old, my kindergarten teacher pointed my skills and interest to my parents. ever since then I had a Painting room, filled with different mediums and art supplies, gave me free-reign to explore my creativity. My family and friends continued support and liking boosted my motivation to come at this stage where I started as an artist professionally and left the steady income job in IT.

 

Many things have changed

since I was 6 years old, but a few things have stayed the same –

my love of paint,

my need to create

and my desire for self-expression.

 

I have been painting and creating artwork ever since. It is my way of expressing myself and how I make sense of the world.
